Our Story

Journey.. We Started

Our journey started in Ekkambi, a small village in the heart of Western Ghats. A farming village that is sparsely populated with lush green areca, pepper, Elaichi, mango, cashew and paddy fields.

Avinya Farms stood there among many since 1900's. This ancestral farm was traditionally maintained and developed by our father Achyut Vishnu Nayak, where the name Avinya Originated. When the world moved towards chemicals, Avinya Farms maintained and believed in Organic farming. Chemical and pesticides never entered our premise. In 2022, After Covid-19 when world was looking back at organic and clean food, we started providing organic manure to new age farmers spreading awareness and importance of Organic farming.

We started as Non Branded, Farmer to Farmer entity. Thus, taking baby steps towards our Organic Journey.

Divakar Nayak : The restless engine behind Avinya. Divakar combines a deep commitment to sustainable rural livelihoods with practical experience running operations and building partnerships. He focuses on strategy, product direction, and translating the organisation’s mission into everyday decisions.
Dr Kiran Anegundi : With an academic grounding (MSc, PhD in agriculture) and applied research experience, Dr. Kiran is an established entrepreneur heading Shrey Agritech, ensures Avinya’s formulations and practices meet scientific standards. He guides product development, quality protocols, and farmer-facing training.
Pamela Saha: HR & Marketing professional with vast experience in people management who shapes how Avinya’s story reaches customers. Pamela handles positioning, communications, and campaigns that highlight product benefits, farmer stories, and the brand’s sustainability commitments.
Abhishek Naik: The relentless man behind Avinya's operations, he runs day-to-day site operations, supply chain, and labour relationships, making sure inputs, manufacturing, and dispatch run smoothly while maintaining quality and traceability.
